במסגרת המחזור השישי של תוכנית עמיתי בצלאל שמונה בוגרי בצלאל בתחומי האמנות והעיצוב יצאו לדרך של הוראה ויצירה בשמונה בתי ספר בבת ים ובירושלים. כל בוגר קיבל כיתה בתוך בית ספר, אותה הסב להיות הסטודיו הראשון מחוץ לאקדמיה.
התפרצות מגפת הקורונה הכתיבה דרכי פעולה שונות, לא רק לתהליך סיום לימודיהם של הבוגרים הטריים – למידה מרחוק ותערוכת גמר עם מגבלת קהל וללא פתיחה – אלא שגם בכניסתם אל בתי הספר הם פגשו מערכת במשבר: הוראה בזום, כיתות ריקות, מגרשי הספורט והחצרות שוממים. בתערוכה זו אנו לומדים על תהליך היצירה שהאט בחלק מהמקרים, קיבל תנופה באחרים, ובכולם התפרץ בעשייה דחוסה כאשר הסגרים הוסרו וההוראה בבתי הספר שבה למסלולה.
בתערוכה התפרצות מובאים לראשונה יצירות תכנית הבוגרים של עמיתי בצלאל. זו הזדמנות לחשוף את העשייה האמנותית והעיצובית של העמיתים שנעשתה בחללי הסטודיו בבתי הספר השונים במהלך שנה זו

As part of the sixth cycle of the Bezalel Fellows program, eight Bezalel graduates in the fields of art and design embarked on the path of teaching and creating in eight schools in Bat Yam and Jerusalem. Each graduate received a classroom within a school, which he turned into the first studio outside the academy.
The outbreak of the Corona epidemic dictated different courses of action, not only for the graduation process of the recent graduates – distance learning and a final exhibition with a limited audience and no opening – but also when they entered the schools they encountered a system in crisis: teaching on Zoom, empty classrooms, the sports fields and courtyards deserted. In this exhibition, we learn about the creative process that slowed down in some cases, gained momentum in others, and in all of them erupted with compressed activity when the closures were lifted and teaching in the schools got back on track.
In the Eruption exhibition, for the first time, the works of the graduate program of my colleagues in Bezalel are presented. This is an opportunity to reveal the artistic and design work of the colleagues that was done in the studio spaces in the various schools during this year
